The teaching collection

Three methods, three aligned worksheets. Each lesson’s core totals 45 minutes; extension work is separate. Open a resource to preview or download it. The materials are unbranded.

Teaching sequence and coverage

Lesson 1: Modules 1–6 through discovery, controller identification, form changes and countability; advanced forms assigned as extension.

Lesson 2: Modules 7–13 through four expert cards, quantifier contrasts, coordination, proportions, measurements and collective interpretations.

Lesson 3: Modules 14–18 through relative-clause analysis, inversion, editorial judgments, what-clauses and a change log; titles, clausal subjects and generic aspect receive explicit extension work.

The attached article samples inform the instructional sequence, role clarity, comparison tasks, misconception work and final-page keys. The grammar content and tasks here are newly written for agreement. The sequence does not imply that every C1 qualification can be mastered in 135 minutes.

The CEFR-labelled result is an indicative course level, based on this unproctored grammar quiz. It does not certify overall language proficiency. Lexical Resources and Vocabulary scores cover only the phrase-choice and terminology items in this course.

References, scoring and content notes

Explanations distinguish grammatical rules from meaning, dialect and editorial preferences. These references support the treatment of variation:

The original 25 assessment items are retained; 25 new items extend the bank. The fourteen redesigned practice sets follow the source exercise topic order, including supporting grammar. Their model keys are editorial answers, not a publisher’s key.

Every quiz item is worth one point. Multiple-answer items require the complete correct set; there is no negative marking or partial credit. The course level is the highest consecutive tier with at least 70% in that tier and each preceding tier. Below 70% at A2 is reported as “A2 developing”; this does not establish A2 proficiency. Tier labels and thresholds are instructional estimates, not a validated placement scale.

Download buttons generate genuine PDFs and editable DOCX files in your browser from the displayed content. Worksheet PDFs put their complete key on the final page. DOCX files use explicit page and column breaks; check pagination after editing or opening in a different word processor. No external scripts, fonts or document libraries are needed.
